AFC Showcase-An Evening With Maya Fey Part.1!!!!

Hello and greetings fellow otaku,

Well as promised you guys are in for a real treat, I was able to get an exclusive interview with Maya Fey, the assistant of the famed defense attorney Phoenix (Nick) Wright. Unfortunately, she will not be appearing in the latest of the Ace Attorney games in which Phoenix will be getting a new assistant. What are her feelings about it, well let’s find out.

Andrew B: Ladies and Gentlemen, I am glad to have here this evening a beautiful young woman who over the years has dealt with many blows and hardships and still manages to deal with them with wit and charm. So here she is, the lovely and talented assistant of Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney, Maya Fey!!!!

*Audience claps as Maya enters the studio in her lovely purple kimono. I give her a hug and sat her down in the chair across from me”.

AB: Well Ms. Fey, it is an honor to have you join us this evening.

Maya Fey: Andrew, it is an honor to be back with you again. And just call me Maya OK!!!

AB: Ok, (Audience and I laugh for a moment). Now as we all know, Phoenix is getting back into the business of protecting the innocent as a defense attorney. You must be excited about this big news.

MF: Oh yes, I am so happy that my Nicky is back to his normal self. I missed the days when we went out after a big case to have burgers. It was the best days of my life and I know that my big sister Mya is up in heaven and smiling that her little apprentice is getting back into the game.

AB: Well I have to say that I am pretty excited about this as well. But word on the street is that your Nicky-Poo is getting a new assistant to help out with the cases. And from what I have been hearing, she is pretty smart for her age.

MF: Really? What does she look like?

AB: Well Maya, take a look at the monitor and you will see what I mean.

(Andrew and Maya both look at the monitor),

MF: Well I have to say that by the looks of her she is pretty smart for her age. Is she a high school student?

AB: Yes she is, and pretty smart cookie as well, and you know what, we have two special guests who are backstage and are willing to shed more light on the subject. And we will meet them right after this commercial time out.

(Donahue 93 theme plays as camera pans out on Andrew and Maya).

(Fade to black).

Breaking News In Gaming!!!!-Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney Will Be Simultaneously Released In Japan and The States in Early 2013!!!!!

We interrupt our 4 anniversary coverage to bring you a special report on the gaming front.

Capcom recently released a trailer yesterday during the first day of the Tokyo Game Show 2012 in Japan for the new Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney 5 game which is slated to be released in Japan and the U.S. in early 2013 for the Nintendo 3DS.

And yes folks all of your favorite characters from the original games will be in it and in kick ass 3D!!!! The video features the first few minutes of gameplay in which we see a 24 esque opening event in which the entire courtroom is destroyed. But don’t take my word for it, watch the video and see for yourself.

Though my only complaint is that Maya Fey will not play a role in this game . And from what I have been hearing, she is not too happy about it. We will have an exclusive interview with her tomorrow so don’t miss it.

And now on an unrelated note, I am happy to say that this little site is now four years old. I can’t believe that we made it this far, even though over the last year and a half I didn’t have much time to update. But it makes me feel good that after four years and over one hundred thousand visitors later that you still like us. Misc Stuff-AFC Update September 2012

Hello and greetings fellow otaku,

Well I know it has been over a month and a half since I last did a post, but I got some major stuff that I want to share with you guys, so hang on to your seats and get ready for the AFC Update for September 2012!!!!

1) AFC will be four years old this month-Well I can’t believe this myself, but in a little less than a weeks time this little site will be four years old. It feels like just yesterday I did my first post in which it launched a new and fresh voice on the world of Japanese animation. Well over the years I have been on fire and sometimes I have ran out of steam. This was due to me completing my college education and looking for full-time work afterwards. However, I am happy to say that now I finally have a full-time job at my previous employer as a Library Assistant so I am glad that bit of weight is off my shoulders. Like the old saying goes, “Good things come to those who wait”.

But I digress. While the last three years have taken a tole on me, I can promise you that you will be seeing a ton of more posts from me in the weeks to come. More on anime, more on manga, more on comics and a whole lot more. So keep your eyes pealed and your minds opened for more otaku goodness.

2) DC (New 52) Zero month is here-Now for all you comic book fans out there, this past week DC comics launched it’s “New 52” zero month campaign in which all the current titles are going to start at issue zero for all the new readers out there in which will consist of origin stories for each characters but not only that, their will be five new series that will be introduced as well including Swords of Sorcery and The Phantom Stranger just to name a few. And for those of you who want to know what you should read and what you should stay away from, don’t worry I will do all of that work for you!!!!

3) AFC is going to SanDiego Comic-Con 2013!!!!!-And now for one of the biggest announcements ever to hit in the history of AFC. I am happy to announce that I will be taking AFC on the road to SanDiego Comic Con 2013!!!! I will be spending the entire week perusing the show floor to see some of the great cosplayers, new comic books, toys, games and much much more. I will also be taking a look at some of the local comic book shops in the area and some famous landmarks that California has to offer. It’s going to be an interesting summer and one that you won’t want to miss.

And would you believe that it’s already getting cold outside. Well in my area it is, but I don’t know about you but I plan on catching up on some much needed anime,manga and comics to read. Hopefully I will be able to catch some of the new series that will be airing in Japan this fall.
