Hello and greetings fellow otaku,

Well Anime Expo has come and gone and there is a lot of great stuff coming our way in the next few months, but I think it’s time to have some fun before we get into the interesting news of the past week. Now how many of you guys remember the TV show “Who’s Line Is It Anyway”? OK, some of you may not know what I am talking about but let me give you a brief intro. The show involved 4 comedians playing various improv games to earn fictional points in which didn’t really matter, thus the tag line for the show was “The Show Where Everything Is Made-up and The Points Don’t Matter”.

One of there most popular games was Scenes From A Hat in which the host Drew Carey who is currently hosting The Price Is Right would draw out slips of paper out of a hat with suggestions from the studio audience with various ideas in which the comedians would act out on the spot in which always ended up with the un-expected. Thus for this edition of Anime Remix, I bring you Scenes From A Hat: Hetalia Edition.

Your host is America (AKA: Alfred Carey) along with Russia, Italy, Brittan, France and the gang playing these classic ideas in a brand new way. I have to say that this is hilarious, especially with the countries national anthems in which Russia… Ok, you have to watch for yourself to find out what happens.

But anyway, enjoy the clip and until next time. Remember that there is a ton of great anime and manga out there, all you have to do is find it. Ltrs.

Epic Fail Award-TV Presenter Breaks Plasma TV With Wiimote Accessory!!!!!

November 5, 2011

Hello and greetings fellow otaku,

Well with Christmas only a few weeks away, what better way to celebrate the holidays with someone throwing a Wii accessory at the television set. Thus this brings us a interesting introduction for this edition of the Epic Fail Award.

So let me set the scene, so one of HSN’s electronics experts decided to show off the capabilities of the Wii by playing a simple game of tennis on Wii Sports. However things do not go according to plan when he serves the imaginary ball and by coincidence, the Wii tennis racket flies off the Wii remote and leaves a big dent on the television screen.

Now I don’t know about you guys, but common sense would tell you to make sure that when you use accessories on the Wii mote to make sure that they are secured properly to make sure that they do not come off. However this dude didn’t get the memo and look at how much hot water he is in for destroying the TV. Poor guy, hope he manages to find a new job soon.

So that it for this exciting edition of the Epic Fail Award, so until next time. Remember that there is a ton of great anime and manga out there, all you have to do is find it. Ltrs.
