Hello and greetings fellow otaku,

Now as we mentioned last week Funimation Entertainment’s parent company Navarre Corporation announced plans to sell the popular anime distribution company. Today, Navarre released its fourth quarter financial results for the 2010 fiscal year.

The company reported a fifteen percent drop in net sales in the fourth quarter in which the company brought 18.8 million U.S. dollars in sales. The software division increased over fifty percent while Funimation’s net sales declined for the second quarter in a row due to a weak release schedule. The company has plans to refer Funimation as a discontinued operation once a deal has been made. However Funimation will still be functioning as normal. No further details have been announced as to when the sale will occur.

As always stay with Anime Full Circle for the latest updates on this developing story. And until next time, remember that there is a ton of great anime and manga out there. All you have to do is find it. Ltrs.
